After having several remodels on my home by a different contractor who retired, I gave Pathway Design & Construction a try when I needed my kitchen and deck remodeled. Our collective of individuals, designers, and artists appreciate quality design of all kinds. Our work draws on a wide and every-growing body of influences, and is therefore always developing. The common denominator in our work is not any particular style, but rather quality of light and space, thoughtful material choices, and attention to important details. Our design process always begins with a thorough understanding of existing resources. Whether it’s a piece of land, piece of history, or an existing structure, we do the hard work required to recognize the value of what is already there. We offer expert guidance in selecting materials and finishes that align with your vision and budget.
Taking into account location, context, and other inherent attributes of a specific project, we strive to create a balanced whole, integrating the structure and the environment. We consider the interplay between inside and outside, light and shadow, aesthetics and utility, carefully selecting materials that harmonize with nature, prioritizing efficiency and sustainability. Our attraction to this way of working has both practical and philosophical roots. With so many architecture firms to choose from, it’s challenging for clients to identify the industry leaders that will be an ideal fit for their project needs.
